The short version: each account is for one business and up to 3 people, each with their own login. Use Corral to collect documents from your own clients, as much as you need to. Don't share logins, run several businesses through one account, or use Corral for anything it isn't built for.
Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between you and AdPass LLC, a Florida limited liability company, 7901 4th St N, Ste 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702, which runs Corral (“Corral,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using Corral, you agree to them. If you use Corral for a company, you agree for that company too.
These terms cover account holders (“you”). People who only upload documents through a link you send are covered by our privacy policy and SMS terms.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older and give us accurate details.
- Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- Tell us right away at security@corraldocs.com if you think someone else got in.
Fair use, and what “unlimited” means
Paid plans include unlimited open packets and unlimited clients. That means you never have to count requests or ration clients in your normal work. It doesn't mean unlimited people, businesses, or uses sharing one plan.
Each account is for one business and includes 3 seats: you and up to two staff, such as an assistant or transaction coordinator. Specifically:
- One person per login. Each seat is for one named person. Don't share a sign-in, and don't rotate a team through your 3 logins. People beyond 3 need more seats or a separate account.
- One business per account. Don't run several companies, brands, offices, or franchises through one account, even if you own them all.
- Your own clients only. Don't resell Corral, offer it as a service to other professionals, or send requests on another business's behalf.
- People, not machines. Don't create packets in bulk with scripts or bots, or connect Corral to other systems without our written OK.
- Document collection, not file storage. Corral is for gathering documents from clients. Don't use it as a backup drive or file-sharing service.
We watch for signs that an account is being shared or stretched past normal use, such as many people or devices signing in to one login, or volume far beyond what one busy professional sends. If we see that, we'll contact you first and help you move to the right setup, such as more seats, separate accounts, or a team plan. If it continues, we may limit, pause, or close the account. We'll always give you a chance to download your files first, unless the law or a security problem prevents it.
Storage, file size, and the other limits listed on our pricing page still apply to every plan.
Plans and payment
- Monthly and Yearly plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in your account. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- The Tax Season Pass is a one-time payment that covers January 15 to April 30. It never renews. Your account moves to Free on May 1.
- 30-day money-back guarantee on Yearly plans and the Tax Season Pass: if Corral isn't for you, email us within 30 days of paying for a full refund. Monthly payments aren't refunded, but you can cancel before the next one. Otherwise, payments aren't refundable except where the law requires.
- If we change prices, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change affects your next renewal.
- Prices don't include taxes, which we add where required.
What you may not do
- Collect documents you have no lawful reason to collect, or without the person's knowledge.
- Upload or request anything illegal, harmful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Send spam, phishing, or messages pretending to be someone else.
- Try to break, probe, overload, or get around the security of Corral.
- Copy, reverse engineer, or resell Corral or its design.
Your documents and your clients
- You own your content and your clients' documents. You give us permission to store, process, and deliver them only to run Corral for you.
- You're responsible for having a lawful reason to request each document, and for meeting the rules of your profession, such as privacy and record-keeping rules for tax preparers, lenders, or brokers.
- Files are deleted on the schedule described in our privacy policy, currently 90 days after a packet closes. Download anything you need to keep. Corral isn't your system of record.
Text messages
Corral texts your clients only after they opt in themselves, as described in our text opt-in page. You agree not to try to text anyone who hasn't opted in, and not to use Corral's messages for marketing.
The Corral Document Alerts text program, for clients and for account holders who turn on text alerts, works like this: texts carry sign-in codes, upload links, reminders about missing documents, and updates on a request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Help is also at hello@corraldocs.com or (949) 614-5207. Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to texts isn't a condition of purchase. Full details are in our SMS terms, which are part of these terms.
Ending your account
You can close your account anytime. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or goes unpaid. When an account closes, we delete its files and data as our privacy policy describes.
Disclaimers
We work hard to keep Corral running and secure, but it's provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we don't check the contents of documents.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Corral isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You agree to cover us for claims that come from your use of Corral in breach of these terms or the law, including documents you requested.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Florida law. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Pinellas County, Florida. Before filing anything, please email us so we can try to sort it out.
Changes
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll email you at least 30 days ahead. Using Corral after a change takes effect means you accept it.
